Time Frames for Pharmacy Tech Schools

The average degree or certificate programs in pharmacy tech schools typically last from ten months two years. Shorter programs are accelerated and typically require attendance four to five days per week for about five to six hours per day. These types of pharmacy tech programs are often available during the day or night to accommodate different student schedules. Longer pharmacy tech training usually consists of a two-year program in which classes are spaced further out and may meet only two to three times per class per week. Each of these classes may last one to two hours at a time, and this scheduling is more in line with traditional college degree time frames. More info: pharmacy tech schools Forest Hills
